聖母進教者之佑會的宗旨，就是呼籲現代的基督徒，掌握符合福音啟示的價值觀念，渡聖化的生活，聖化自己和他人：
| 宗旨：會員們以每日讀聖書做默想的修練，去維護及促進他們「身在俗世心繫天主」的在俗基督徒的屬靈生命，俾能在聖神及聖母的助佑下成長及聖化，成為地上的鹽和世界上的光。
Aim ： To foster the growth and sanctification of members' Christian life,"sojourning in the world yet longing for God" through the daily practice of spiritual reading and meditation so that,with the help of the Holy Spirit and Our Lady,they may become the salt of the earth and the light of the world. |
有關上述宗旨，我們特別強調每天讀聖書做默想的內修功夫。這不僅是教會在神修的傳統中所公認的內修良法，也是我們多年來因親歷的經驗所珍惜的精神財產。如果一位基督徒能夠持之以恆，每天安排少許時間與天主的聖言接觸，讓聖神啟迪他的心靈、強化他的信仰，那麼，他的日常生活一定可以逐漸基督化起來。
